Geography and history
Rundu is the capital city of the Kavango Province of Namibia. It is located in the Northern parts of the country and has a total population of approximately 90 000 residents. This city is situated on the Okavango River on the Angolan border and is considered to be a multilingual city.
The city of Rundu has a semi-arid climate with hot summers and mild winters. The city is also known for the biggest open market in the area which attracts many tourists.
